Last Hoops Post…
March 19th, 2008 | by The Prowler |…until late tomorrow night, as the Prowler and his son, the 16 month old Mini-Prowler, and his brother, DeadbeatlivinginProwler’sbasement-Prowler are leaving bright and early and heading to Denver to watch Pitt bring the pain to ORU. I won’t be home to update the game until probably between 10-midnight.
Here’s to hoping for a big Pitt win, as I already bought tickets for Saturday’s session as well. =-)

16 month old mini prowler? lol. you do realize he was chearing for WVU against Oklahoma when he came up to visit for Christmas. Did you also know the first thing he said to me was “Pitt sucks!” or maybe it was “Bitt gagaaohgducks” but it sounded like “Pitt sucks” He and High fived immediately after he said those 2 magnificent words and I knew, from that moment I knew- he was a Mountaineer.. So you might be suprised by his decision on which college to attend- he will be wearing gold and blue alright. But everything else about his college experience (Great football team, cool college town, the joy of being a Mountaineer), will have nothing to do with Pitt. I’ve made it my Life’s quest to turn Mickey into a Mini-Mountaineer! LETS GOOOOOO ……….MOUNTAINEERS

btw, i have to admit that is so cool you guys went to the game. What a perfect first round location for you guys, in Denver. I am seriously considering going to the WVU Duke game in DC. a win over the Dukies would make this the single best season ever for the ‘Eers, considering we have a brand new coach and what he has accomplished. I know the Elite 8 run was pretty awesome, but beating Duke (like Pitt did earlier this year) can give a huge boost to a programs recruiting, perception around the country, all that good stuff..
Good luck against MSU, i am rooting for all Big East teams except Pitt. In their case, I am simply rooting against Michigan St.

Michigan St. is going to be tough. Neitzel can shoot from outside and he is pretty quick. I think Pitt will win. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost.
We are heading back to Denver tomorrow to see it all unfold first hand.
